Crosstraining (Boxing?)

Bags hanging all over. Different shapes, weights. Some attached to bungee cords, some to chains. Heavy bag, speed bag, double end bag, upper cut bag. That’s where a good coach comes in.

When a new athlete walks in the gym, it’s paramount for the coach to introduce each of the bags and it’s purpose.

One and One is not just two, for a fighter it’s exponential. Heavy bag plus speed bag, two skills combined equal a combination much greater than the sum of it’s parts. Again, boxing + on ice training + strength training EQUALS…..? A hockey player much greater than just a hockey player.
