Dave Debol

Dave Debol starred for Notre Dame High School where he won the state title in 1973. From there, he played at the University of Michigan where, as a sophomore, he set the NCAA record for fastest hat trick against Michigan Tech, which still stands at 59 seconds. He led the team to the 1977 NCAA title game and set Michigan’s single season scoring record. Following his collegiate career, he went on to play six years of professional hockey including a stint with the Hartford Whalers.

Dave has coached high school hockey since 1999, beginning as Dexter High School head coach. Now he's entering his third season as U of M Dearborn Club Hockey Head Coach. The team finished 6th nationally in the ACHA rankings in his inaugural 2004/2005 coaching season.

In addition to being co-owner of Hockey Masters, Dave skates with the Red Wing alumni team. He is married and lives in Saline with his son and daughter, both, of course, hockey players.
