Hockey Masters Program Update
We have made some administrative changes within
Hockey Masters. While Carrie and Dave will continue to offer private
lesson opportunities under the Hockey Masters name, the summer EPP
program and the Preschool/Kindergarten “Let’s Play Hockey”
program will now be operated solely by Carrie under the Keil
Power Skating name. Dave is in the planning and development
stages of new programs which will run under the Pro Skill Development
name. We apologize in advance for any confusion this may cause,
but we will work hard to make the transition as easy as possible
for you, our valued clients. These changes are in effect as of January
1, 2008. Link
to Keil Power Skating Some
questions you may have:
How will these changes
affect my child’s continued skill development?
For the better! You will see more offerings as
Carrie and Dave are free to concentrate on developing programs that
reflect our individual areas of expertise. By the same token, these
programs will improve in quality as we will be able to focus our
passion for coaching in more specific areas.
Will I still be
able to sign up for lessons with different coaches on the same ice?
Yes! Carrie and Dave will continue to teach private
and semi-private lessons together. We have informed Chris Tamer,
Dale Rominski, Ken Grundy, and Nick Vetter of these changes and
have offered all of them an invitation to continue coaching with
us as well. Our website (hockeymasters.net) and brochures will continue
to provide current contact information for all coaches.
Is there still going
to be a 10-week summer program?
Yes! Carrie has already begun to put into place
several changes that will improve the quality of the program. Some
of these changes include: the hiring of a professional off-ice strength
coach for younger players ages 8-12; separate, smaller groups for
more serious players who have exhibited advanced desire and determination;
nutrition seminars specific to athletes; etc. Keil Power Skating
will continue to provide you with everything you’ve come to
expect and more. Click
